The Sons of Liberty Gun Works Broadsword Billet/L89A is an evolution of the Broadsword precision line, featuring the updated L89A handguard system. This upper is built around the Broadsword billet receiver, which is specifically designed with thicker walls to increase structural rigidity and eliminate the rail flex often found in standard forged uppers. It features a 14.5-inch precision-series barrel chambered in .223 Wylde, providing a match-grade shooting experience with both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition. To ensure it is ready for a standard rifle build without NFA paperwork, the SOLGW NOX Flash Hider is permanently pinned and welded (P&W) to the muzzle, bringing the legal barrel length to 16 inches. The L89A rail utilizes a titanium barrel nut and the Drivelock mounting system to ensure that point-of-impact remains consistent for rail-mounted lasers and optics.
