Geissele Super Duty MOD1-A 5.56mm 10.3" DDC SBR 08-761S is the shortest configuration in the ambidextrous MOD1-A SBR lineup - built for shooters who need maximum maneuverability in vehicles, structures, or tight quarters without giving up Super Duty reliability.
The barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and cut to a 1:7 twist on Geissele's tapered profile, running a carbine-length gas system through a Super Compact Gas Block with a .070" gas port tuned specifically for this shorter length. This Geissele 10.3 Super Duty build channels that gas through a Nanoweapon®-coated Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group with a forged Stressproof Bolt, holding up to sustained round counts better than standard bolts - a real consideration on a barrel this short, where dwell time and pressure curves get less forgiving.
Fully ambidextrous controls carry over from the platform - a left-side magazine release below the Maritime Bolt Catch and a dust-cover-actuated bolt catch and release on the right, so the manual of arms doesn't change based on which hand is running the gun. The Geissele Super Duty 10.3 platform's SSA-E X® trigger with Lightning Bow® gives a clean two-stage break, and a 9.3" MK16 rail with Geissele's Center Tab mating keeps the front end rigid despite the reduced length.
This Geissele Super Duty SBR hands shooters the shortest barrel in the MOD1-A ambidextrous line, built for close-quarters roles where every inch of length costs maneuverability.
