The Sons of Liberty Gun Works Broadsword Billet/L89 Upper Receiver is a premium, precision-focused upper receiver group designed for users who demand maximum structural rigidity and accuracy. Built on the Broadsword Billet Upper Receiver, this model features a reinforced design with increased wall thickness to minimize flex and harmonic interference. It is equipped with a 16-inch precision-series barrel chambered in .223 Wylde, providing a match-grade interface for both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition. The L89 Drivelock handguard utilizes a titanium barrel nut and a three-point locking system to ensure that rail-mounted optics and lasers maintain a rock-solid zero. This "No Muzzle Device" (NMD) version provides a bare 1/2x28 threaded muzzle, allowing the end-user to install their specific suppressor mount or flash hider of choice.
