The IC-SPR is the flagship model of LWRCI's Individual Carbine series, originally developed for the U.S. Army's Individual Carbine Program. At the heart of the LWRCI IC-SPR Rifle is a NiCorr-treated, cold-hammer forged barrel with a 1:7 twist rate, ensuring stability for a wide range of bullet types. Its distinctive spiral fluting not only enhances the rifle's aesthetic but also reduces weight by 20% compared to traditional barrels of the same diameter, while increasing surface area for improved cooling after rapid fire.
Reliability is a hallmark of the IC-SPR, thanks to LWRCI's patented short-stroke gas piston system. This innovative design minimizes hot gas venting into the receiver and bolt carrier group, significantly reducing cleaning requirements.
