Geissele Super Duty MOD1-A 5.56mm 12.5" Pistol 08-673B slots into the middle of the MOD1-A pistol lineup — longer than the 11.5" for a bit more velocity, still short enough to stay fast in tight spaces.

The 12.5" barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and holds a 1:7 twist on Geissele's tapered profile, running a carbine-length gas system with a .065" gas port sized specifically for this length. This Geissele Super Duty 12.5 configuration pairs that with a Super Compact Gas Block and a Super 42® braided buffer spring, which together cut down felt recoil more than a standard buffer setup typically manages on a shorter gas system.

Ambidextrous controls run through the whole platform — a left-side magazine release below the Maritime Bolt Catch and a dust-cover-actuated bolt catch and release on the right, the same layout Geissele uses on its GFR and MRGG rifles. Inside, a Nanoweapon-coated Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group runs with a forged Stressproof Bolt made from Carpenter 158+, which holds up longer than mil-spec bolts under sustained use. The SSA-E X® trigger gives a clean two-stage break, and an 11.5" MK16 rail with Geissele's Center Tab mating keeps the whole front end rigid.
