Geissele SAG .50 Suppressor Alignment Gage 10-1641-F verifies the alignment of a suppressor to the bore of a firearm barrel, catching a misalignment problem most shooters never think to check for.
This Suppressor Alignment Gage works because a suppressor is usually much longer than the barrel-to-muzzle-device interface, so a small deviation at the mounting point translates into a much larger deviation at the suppressor's exit hole. Those small deviations can also compound rather than cancel out, making misalignment worse the farther down the suppressor's length it travels — a real concern on .50 caliber builds where suppressors are typically longer and heavier than on smaller-caliber platforms.
Manufactured from hardened steel and ground 0.002" under nominal bore diameter, this gage is finished straight to 0.001" over its full 18" length. That length is what does the actual aligning work — the gage's own straightness carries the alignment check down the suppressor's full length rather than relying on an overly tight bore fit. Geissele hardens the SAG specifically so it resists wear from abrasive powder residue and won't pull burrs if it contacts misaligned baffles inside the suppressor.
This gage turns a guessing game into a verifiable check, catching suppressor misalignment on a .50 caliber platform before it becomes a baffle strike.
