The Geissele Premium MIL-SPEC AR-15/M4 DDC Buffer Tube 08-162S is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum rather than the softer materials some budget tubes rely on, holding true to mil-spec dimensions across all six stock positions so any quality mil-spec diameter stock locks on and stays put.
