The Tikka T1x Hunter Blued Steel 17 HMR J04116 takes the T1x platform in a genuinely different direction from the tactical and precision variants, built around a traditional wood stock and a classic profile rather than modern synthetic materials.

This Tikka T1x Hunter 17 HMR pairs an oiled brown wood stock with a blued steel finish, giving it the timeless look of a classic sporting rifle without sacrificing any of the mechanical precision Tikka's known for. The flush-fitting 6-round magazine is a deliberate design choice, not a compromise, it keeps the rifle's profile clean and traditional, matching the elegant lines of the wood stock rather than protruding below it like a standard detachable magazine would.

The 16" barrel runs a 1:9" twist, exactly right for stabilizing Tikka T1x 17 hmr ammunition cleanly, and the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle means a suppressor or muzzle device mounts without any extra work. Right-hand configuration, single-stage trigger, and the same cold hammer forged barrel construction running through the rest of the T1x lineup round out a rifle built as much for the field as for the safe.

For hunters and collectors who want a rimfire rifle with genuine classic styling, not just a synthetic stock painted to look traditional, this Tikka T1x wood stock Hunter model delivers real craftsmanship alongside the accuracy Tikka's rimfire platform is known for.
