Swarovski’s EL Range 10x42 FieldPro Package delivers exceptional optical performance to the discerning hunter. Like all of the field glasses in Swarovski’s EL Series, the EL Range 10x42’s are designed to stand up to heavy duty outdoor use while providing stunningly vivid imaging with edge to edge sharpness. This level of clarity can be attributed to SWAROVISION technology, which incorporates premium glass lenses made with fluoride, as well as optimized lens coatings – the result is a 91% light transmission and an image that’s rich in color, brightness, and detail. In addition to the EL Range’s advanced optical abilities, it also comes equipped with an integrated laser rangefinder. This allows the EL Range to determine distances of 33 yards all the way out to 1500 yards (measurements can be taken in meters as well). The rangefinder also features an internal angle-compensation program, this displays the corrected shooting distance based on the user’s distance to the target parallel to the Earth’s surface. After activation, the corrected shooting distance is displayed below the actual straight-line distance to the target. When the angle-compensation program is combined with a ballistic turret or ballistic reticle, the shooter can make precise adjustments and accurately hit targets at extreme distances. Using the range-finding function is simple and intuitive, with the measuring button placed in an optimal position for quick measurements.
