The Spuhr A-0227 Angled Universal Interface is a lightweight intermediary mounting block engineered from premium 7075-T651 billet aluminum and protected by a hardcoat anodized finish. Designed to bolt directly onto any platform containing a standard Spuhr Interface, such as the ISMS scope mount series or the SICS chassis system, it enables tactical shooters to run a secondary red dot at a fixed 20-degree angle. This configuration positions reflex sights perfectly at the 4:30 position—or the 7:30 position for left-handed operators—allowing a shooter to rapidly transition from a high-power optic to a 1x backup sight with a minor cant of the rifle. The universal top configuration acts as a baseline receiver plate that seamlessly accepts dedicated Spuhr footprints for top-tier reflex sights like the Trijicon RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint, and Aimpoint ACRO.
