The Sightron S6 ED FFP 5-30x56 IR MOA-8 Riflescope is the MOA-configured first focal plane variant of Sightron's flagship S6 ED series, purpose-built to give MOA-preferring long-range tactical shooters and precision hunters the same first focal plane advantage as the MH-7 mil model while keeping all holdover and ranging calculations in the MOA system they are most familiar with. The glass-etched MOA-8 reticle scales with the image as magnification increases, ensuring that all subtension values printed on the reticle remain accurate at every power setting from 5x to 30x — a critical distinction from the SFP MOA-7 sibling (SKU 66013) where reticle values are only true at maximum magnification. Like all S6 ED models, it is manufactured in Japan using Extra-Low Dispersion glass with Zact-7 Revcoat Plus fully multi-coated lenses, ExacTrack zero-stop tactical turrets, an 11-position illumination dial with alternating off positions, side-focus parallax from 10 yards to infinity, and a one-piece 34mm aircraft aluminum tube that is O-ring sealed, nitrogen purged, and rated to 1,000G shockproof and IPX7 waterproof.
