The Sig Sauer MCX Rattler LT is a compact and powerful pistol chambered in 7.62x39mm. It features a 7.75-inch barrel with a 1:9.5" twist rate for optimal performance. The Sig Sauer PMCX-762R-7B-LT-PCB pistol comes equipped with one 28-round magazine and an M-LOK handguard, which allows for the attachment of various accessories. Additionally, it includes a SIG folding pivoting contour brace for enhanced stability and versatility.
The Sig Sauer MCX SPEAR-LT represents the latest evolution in the esteemed MCX series. Building on the success of earlier models, it integrates the lightweight, modular design of the original MCX with the rugged durability of the MCX VIRTUS, resulting in a system that excels in lightness, strength, modularity, and accuracy.
The Sig Sauer MCX SPEAR-LT features a handguard with two additional screws for enhanced rigidity and stability, allowing for more accessories without affecting the rifle’s aim or impact. The handguard is lighter and ergonomically designed, while the barrel, though lighter, has a slightly larger contour to enhance accuracy. It comes equipped with a QD Flash Hider and a proprietary Clutch-Lock system for suppressor attachment.
Additional upgrades include a newly designed lower receiver with fully ambidextrous controls, similar to the M400’s bolt catch, and compatibility with standard MCX and MCX VIRTUS upper receivers. The rifle features the Matchlite Duo trigger but also supports AR15-style or other MCX triggers due to a firing pin latch in the bolt carrier. Notably, this version is chambered in 7.62x39, a first for the MCX line, with a new latch system designed to reliably cycle all types of 7.62x39 cartridges.
