Schmidt Bender PM Shortdot

Schmidt and Bender has merged the brilliance of a red dot sight with a scope to come up with its Schmidt Bender PM Shortdot series. This series is essentially made for short and medium distance applications. Features of Schmidt Bender PM Short dot scopes include low magnification, a red dot and automatic locking function. Mirrored in the center of the reticle, the red target dot can be put off by a rheostat. That is not all; when turned off, the illumination disappears and the dot serves as a normal reticle. The dot is accompanied by 5 illumination stages for use in broad daylight and powerful enough to be visible in snow, sand or bright sunlight. The illumination stages ensure clear viewing in bad lighting conditions without night vision, and facilitate the pairing up with night-vision goggles. The automatic locking function on the other hand, secures elevation and windage along with the illuminating unit from involuntary adjustments.
