The Sako 85 Kodiak rifle is designed for the toughest weather conditions and the toughest game. This large action (85L) is chambered in 338 Winchester Magnum as well as the time proven 375 H&H Magnum. The laminated stock is virtually weatherproof and all metal parts of stainless steel to resist the harshest of conditions. Open sights are standard as well as a two reinforcing cross bolts to handle the recoil of the larger calibers. The proven Sako integral dovetail scope mounting design is built to handle the Sako Optilock ring system. The Sako 85 Kodiak features a forward mounted swing swivel on a barrel band and the standard Sako 85 adjustable trigger.
