Kimber has elevated its popular R7 Mako handgun with the tactical R7 Mako CFc (Carbon Fiber Compact). This model features a completely redesigned frame made from carbon fiber-infused polymer, providing an impressive tensile strength of 60,000 psi. Enhanced ergonomics come from a higher undercut, while aggressive grip texturing ensures a secure hold.
Select versions of the Kimber R7 Mako CFc Pistol come with a threaded barrel and a pre-installed Holosun HS 407K micro red dot for added versatility. Maintaining the design of its predecessors, the R7 Mako CFc includes a closed-top slide that enhances strength and minimizes residue buildup, along with a hooded ejection port that directs gases and spent brass away from the optic.
The barrel configuration features a rear-positioned lug that reduces the unlock angle and barrel movement, significantly mitigating recoil. Additionally, the handgun is equipped with Kimber’s exclusive Performance Carry Trigger—a flat-faced trigger that delivers a smooth pull ranging from 5 to 6.75 pounds with a clean break, ensuring precision and control with every shot.
