The Kimber 84M Open Country is a purpose-built long-range hunting rifle chambered in the proven .308 Winchester cartridge, offering hunters power and accuracy in a lightweight, backcountry-ready packagechambered in the tried and true .308 Winchester cartridge, known for its power and accuracy. It features a 24" heavy barrel that has been fluted to reduce weight, with the muzzle threaded 5/8-24" for a suppressor or muzzle brake. The rifle's stock is made from reinforced carbon-fiber, making the rifle both durable and lightweight, and this Scopelist Exclusive version comes in the distinctive Granite finish. Built on Kimber's M84 action with a Mauser two-lug extractor and a match grade chamber, the rifle also includes an adjustable trigger set from 3-3.5 lbs and pillar bedding for increased accuracy.
