Geissele Posi-Snap Safety Selector 05-1089 is the mil-spec AR-15 safety selector, enhanced. It offers a very positive and tactile feel as the safety snaps into position when engaged, replacing the mushy, imprecise action most mil-spec selectors are known for.

Machined from high-strength 400-series stainless steel with a corrosion-resistant black finish, this Geissele safety selector provides a traditional 90-degree throw built for right-handed shooters. That familiar throw angle means it drops straight into most standard AR-15/AR-308 lower receivers without requiring a different manual of arms to relearn.

This Geissele posi snap safety selector includes the safety selector, detent, and spring, so installation is a straightforward drop-in rather than a parts-hunting exercise. The audible, pronounced snap gives instant confirmation of which position the rifle's actually in, which matters more than it sounds like it should once a rifle's been run hard enough that a mushy mil-spec safety starts to feel unreliable.
