Laser-welded 410 stainless steel forms the entire body rather than spot-welded seams, which is where cheaper magazines tend to fail first under repeated loading and drops. This Geissele ICM 20 carries a black nitride finish over the stainless construction, adding corrosion resistance on top of steel that's already fairly hard to kill. A stainless steel square spring drives feeding, paired with an anti-tilt follower specifically contoured for 6mm ARC's case geometry.

The Geissele 6mm ARC magazine's feed lips are cut specifically for the cartridges it's rated for - 6mm ARC, .22 ARC, and 6.5 Grendel - rather than adapted from a 5.56 mag body, which is part of why feeding stays consistent even as the mag empties.
