Offering 1.5x and 6x magnification options, it caters to various engagement distances. The 7.62 BDC is calibrated for the trajectory of the 7.62mm NATO cartridge, optimizing accuracy. Flip covers protect the lenses, while the ARD reduces glare, and A.R.M.S. Levers ensure quick and secure mounting on Picatinny rails. This Elcan SpecterDR scope is favored for its durability and versatility in military and law enforcement applications.
New for 2024, Elcan has upgraded the renowned SpecterDR line of riflescopes to meet the ever-changing demands of military and law enforcement professionals. The finish has been transitioned from anodized to Cerakote to reduce the scope's IR detection, and it is available in either black or FDE. The SpecterDR scopes now also feature an integrated Picatinny rail in the housing to accommodate accessories such as red dot sights. Additionally, reticle options have been expanded to cater to both the 5.56 and 7.62 round preferences of the shooter.
Similar to the previous models, the Elcan SpecterDR 1.5x/6x utilizes an innovative throw-lever to change magnifications. This allows the user to instantly switch between the 1.5x and 6x magnifications, making the SpecterDR perfect for both close and mid-range engagements. The SpecterDR's close/mid-range capabilities are further enhanced by the optic's illumination function, which can be used to illuminate the entire crosshair for longer-range targets or illuminate a bright center dot for accurate close-range shooting. Other features of the SpecterDR include a generous field of view that remains the same at both 1.5x and 6x magnification, as well as a wide field of view for greater situational awareness.
