The Elcan SpecterDR 1.5x/6x Dual Role Weapon Sight is a highly versatile, combat-proven optical system optimized for both rapid close-quarters indexing and intermediate precision tracking. Utilizing an external mechanical magnification throw lever, operators can immediately toggle between a wide 1.5x close-quarters field of view and a 6x magnified setting without losing their cheek weld or shifting target alignment. This specific configuration features a precision ballistic reticle calibrated for the trajectory of 5.56x45mm NATO M855 (62-grain) ammunition fired from a standard 20-inch rifle barrel platform. As a comprehensive factory demo unit, it comes outfitted with premium tactical upgrades including high-impact flip-up lens covers and a signature honeycomb anti-reflection device (ARD) kill-flash insert. The entire assembly sits on an integrated base secured by heavy-duty dual A.R.M.S. quick-detach throw levers, guaranteeing flawless return-to-zero tracking when mounted to any standard Mil-Std-1913 Picatinny rail.
