The Colt Enhanced Patrol Carbine Pinned & Welded Rifle is a semi-automatic, direct gas impingement rifle chambered in 5.56mm NATO, purpose-built to deliver an agile tactical footprint without requiring NFA short-barreled rifle registration. This service-grade firearm incorporates a 14.5-inch chrome-lined, button-rifled barrel featuring a 1:7" right-hand twist rate, brought to a non-NFA compliant 16.1-inch overall length via a permanently pinned and welded standard A2 flash hider. It is built on mil-spec forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers finished in a matte black Type III hardcoat anodizing. Operating on a reliable carbine-length gas system, the premium EPR configuration features a lightweight, free-floating Centurion Arms M-LOK handguard that maximizes modular accessory placement while isolating the barrel from hand pressure to ensure consistent accuracy. The duty-ready layout is rounded out right out of the box with an ambidextrous safety selector, a rugged B5 Systems Bravo 6-position collapsible buttstock, an ergonomic pistol grip, and premium low-profile folding Magpul MBUS Pro all-steel iron sights.
