The Calypso Instruments ULP LoRa + Receiver Ultrasonic Wind Meter is a long-range, wireless wind measurement system that combines the high-accuracy ULP LoRa wind sensor with a dedicated radio receiver. This system uses LoRa technology to transmit wind data over significant distances—up to 3 km (1.86 miles) in a direct line of sight—without requiring local Wi-Fi or cellular infrastructure. The receiver acts as a bridge, collecting the long-range signal and relaying it via Bluetooth to mobile devices for real-time monitoring through the Anemotracker App.
