Exchanging Calibers

Different barrel versions can be inserted in every R8. When changing from one caliber group to the other during a barrel exchange, the bolt head has to be changed as well, so that it corresponds to the caliber group. The bolt head can be exchanged quickly and easily. Every R8 barrel comes with the suitable magazine insert.

Changing the model

Every R8 can subsequently be converted into the R8 Semi Weight or R8 Safari. Besides the barrel exchange, a suitable forearm is additionally necessary.
NOTE: Except for the Blaser Saddle Mount, all R8 components are not compatible with R93 components
