Beregara’s B-14 Crest was built from the ground up to meet the demands of backcountry and mountain hunters, and comes equipped with a wide array of new and exclusive features. It utilizes a Monocoque Carbon Fiber Stock, which was developed using CF-RTM technologies originally developed for the aeronautics industry. The 100% carbon fiber stock features an internal spine that delivers superior strength and rigidity, making it virtually indestructible. The stock’s strength is perfectly matched by its ultra-lightweight, making the Crest ideal for any hunt that demands long hikes.
Like all of the rifles in the B-14 family, the Crest’s action is composed of a two-bolt system with a sliding extractor, tapered bolt, and breech stop to ensure smooth feeding and extraction. The barrel is constructed using Bergara’s renowned drilling, honing, and rifling processes which guarantee sub-MOA precision. The barrel is made with 4140 CrMo steel, with fluting to reduce weight and is topped with an Omni Muzzle Brake. In addition, the B-14 Crest is compatible with AICS magazines, and ships with one 5-round magazine.
