The BWC-9 from B&T introduces a new standard in personal defense weapons, drawing comparisons to the Magpul FMG-9. It can be folded into a compact shape and swiftly deployed into a small carbine. Once the P320 Fire Control Unit is installed, the BWC-9 becomes a short barreled rifle, requiring proper Form 1 paperwork for ownership.

Deploying the B&T BWC-9 involves a single swift movement, and folding it back requires a series of steps including partially removing the magazine, folding the grip and magazine forward, and lifting the "cheek piece" to fold the entire weapon. In its folded state, it resembles a small briefcase or laptop case, featuring a fixed carry handle for easy transportation.
