The B&T APR8.6 is a short-barreled rifle chambered in 8.6 Blackout, featuring a 12-inch barrel with a 1:3 twist rate. This B&T BT-APR8.6-S-KIT is subject to National Firearms Act (NFA) regulations due to its short-barreled configuration. The rifle is equipped with a muzzle threaded in M20x1, and it is designed for precision shooting with the integration of B&T's renowned APR platform.

B&T has introduced the APR8.6, a precision rifle that combines the accuracy of the APR platform with the sound suppression capabilities of the SPR300. Chambered in the 8.6 Blackout cartridge, the B&T APR8.6 rifle features an integral suppressor similar to the SPR300, offering precise targeting and intermediate barrier penetration up to 400 yards with minimal noise and flash. The rifle's all-metal lower receiver serves as a chassis, housing the upper receiver with a unique bedding surface. The upper receiver includes the barrel, fire control group, and bolt group, allowing smooth cycling with a 60-degree rotation for faster follow-up shots. The APR8.6 also features a detachable trigger module with a two-stage adjustable trigger. The rifle is designed for accuracy and user adaptability, featuring a folding stock with an adjustable butt plate and length-of-pull spacer system, as well as a fully adjustable cheek-rest, making it suitable for various shooters.
