The American Precision Arms Gen 4 Micro Bastard is a self-timing muzzle brake designed for light sporter-weight barrels in .30 caliber, threaded 9/16x24, and finished in a durable nitrided coating. The Gen 4 features newly optimized tunable top ports for maximum efficacy and adjustability, along with a redesigned port layout and internal manifold that is more efficient and softer sounding than previous generations. APA's proprietary U.R.P. (Universally Removable Plug) calibrated top port system allows the shooter to fine-tune muzzle rise and recoil impulse without the need for thread-tite, and a caliber and level line is machined directly onto the brake face for easy, precise installation.
