The Accuracy International AX Rifles are the latest addition to the brand’s extensive and unique range of combat proven sniper rifles. The series consists of the AX 308 (.308 Win caliber) and the AXMC. While the former is all powerful and self-contained, the latter is a multi calibre .338 Lapua Mag that can easily be reconfigured to .300 Win Mag or .308 Win. This can be done by altering the barrel and bolt and changing the magazine / insert. Features of the tough and super accurate Accuracy International AX include the brand’s Quickloc quick release barrel system, mil std 1913 action and forend rail, adjustable cheekpiece and 6-lug 60° bolt with Accuracy International leaf spring extractor. In addition to that, the AI AX rifles are also equipped with 3 position safety that locks the trigger/ blocks the firing pin, folding stock, left side magazine port cut out, adjustable buttpad with spacers, and flush cup sling attachment points. A double chamber muzzle brake is standard and the option of tactical threaded double chamber muzzle brake for AI suppressor is also available. The double stack magazine of the Accuracy International Rifles is detachable and armed with 10 round capacity. The rifles have totally adjustable, two-stage trigger units, and are available in Black/ green stocksides with black metalwork or a combination of pale brown stocksides and metalwork. The AI AX Rifles comes with a host of accessories like AI bipod and Harris bipod mounts; Rear butt spike; Bipods; Handstop with sling loop and Flush cup; and STANAG 4694 / Mil std 1913 accessory rails to attach to Accuracy International’s patented KeySlot mounting system.
