Very expensive rifle (3x the price of a ruger or CZ and 4x the price of a savage). Built like a tank, and a solid well crafted rifle. My first 17 Hornet... and this one out shoots all my 17 cal rim fire rifles by a wide margin. Right out of the box, first 5 rounds, it shot 0.5 moa, so I'm very happy and will keep this heirloom rifle. I had a Kimber 17 Mach2 and a Browning 1885 17 WSM that both shot for crap so this Anschutz is a wonderful refreshing addition. About 15 years ago I bought a Anschutz 1730 in 22 Hornet and it shoots just like this one .5 MOA. Never had a bad Anshttps://www.scopelist.com/BVAdmin/images/Buttons/savesmall.pngchutz. This rifle was purchased from Scopelist and delivered promptly and safely, but UPS or someone really beat up the box.
